B.Ed ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR 2023-24 BATCH.

Sri. M S Ramaiah, a noted entrepreneur and gifted visionary of Karnataka Recognised the deficiency in the public education system as early as in the year 1960. Many aspirants, though brilliant and committed, invariably stood denied an opportunity to pursue further education of their choice after PUC, due to scanty number of professional colleges. He made up his mind to fill this gap through a private educational system and serve the society with his own resources and without any financial support from anywhere. In order to pursue and fulfil his mission, he founded Gokula Education Foundation in the year 1962. Being highly industrious and endowed with abundant commonsense, he toiled incessantly and untiringly throughout his life time and saw to it that a galaxy of educational institutions came into existence in all their excellence, encompassing every field of specialty in education. He devoted his entire life to the cause of education, health and upliftment of the entire society and community. Thus was started Ramaiah College of Education in the year 2004 under Gokula Education Foundation.

The college is situated in the campus “Jnana Gangothri”, a campus of all M S Ramaiah Institutions. The entire campus has its scholastic ambience fortified further by the presence of surrounding organizations of world repute like IISC, CPRI, NIAS, RRI, UAS, ISRO, BEL and HMT.
